These fun yoga classes help kids to explore their inner yogi! They will learn lots of interesting yoga postures and meditation techniques to help them stretch and relax, they'll also play games and create works of art to increase their self-confidence, and compassion towards others.
Sometimes kids just need some time to themselves... Yogibairns workshops are specifically tailored for kids aged 3-12yrs for nurseries and primary schools.
Yoga is a wonderful way for kids to express themselves in a calm way. It cultivates happiness, brings focus and provides a much needed space to absorb everything they learn and do (usually at a million miles an hour!). The session can be tailored to your needs, and can easily fit around a topic (eg.: the seasons, environmental issues, health). The workshops are designed to complement the 'Curriculum for Excellence' and not only do they improve a child's physical and mental wellbeing, but also stimulate the child's imagination. Using a combination of yoga poses, breathwork, music, visualisation and laughter; they can transform from mountains into yoga superheroes!
Yogibairns Fun Day
The fun day was a great success! We had 20 kids and a couple of parents too who enjoyed a yoga class, playing yoga games like musical postures and yoga stories, creating madalas & fortune tellers, learning about digestion, creating crazy poses and so much more!
